Free Web Analytics

By Benj Arriola - Posted on Thu Aug 24, 2006

Analytics softwares cost a lot, well cost a lot if you have no SEO/SEM clients and is just getting started in the industry. So you end up using whatever is free out there. Like AWStats and other free stat software packages. Although the data is better than just staring at raw access logs, a really good anaytics program just gives you more graphical data and information specifically needed by the search engine marketer.

Although Google Analytics is for free, each account can only do stats for 5 sites only. And many softwares out there like Omniture and Clicktracks are a bit popular in the industry, they do cost you some amount. Enquisite seems to be promoting their analytics as a pretty robust analytics package, one big thing they are saying is they are free!

I gave it a try, and I decided to sign up. And right after signing up, I noticed something that was just like Google Analytics! That was I had to wait until they activate my account. Try signing up too!

    Hi,

What account did you sign up with? We generally approve signup requests within 12 hours, or if there is an issue, we contact the web site operator in that period.

Enquisite was built as a search metrics reporting tool. Enquisite is not designed to compete with Google Analytics, Clicktracks, or Omniture. It includes a passive search engine positioning (ranking) report. It is more robust than analytics tools for search reporting; We have a lot of unique features, some of which are patent pending.

Please let me know what web site you signed up, and once you’ve had a chance to install your tracking code, please feel free to provide feedback and suggestions. We’re building additional features based on user requests. I’d appreciate your input.

    Thanks,

    Richard
