Robert,

It's bee a while since someone posted on this page. I just got a new job for SEM/SEO, so I am doing some quick research on the topic.

To answer your question (or a stab at it), I suspect the reason your keyword is not generating click-through is because it is not revelent to the searcher; I suspect your website is selling your "repair service" as oppose to "a solution to a PC problem"?

My assumption will be with the keyword "PC computer repair", searchers are actually searching for a DIY solution and NOT a repairer.

I would recommend using a more targeted keyword, such as "PC repair(er) Auburn Sydney" or "Motherboard repair" etc... this would provide more revelent traffic to your site....

Hello Benj,

I'm still doing an Seo experiment for my websites since I really want to discover some secrets and techniques of Seo.

I used Wordtracker when I tried to optimized this keyword "pc computer repair". It has a KEI of .04 and here is what Wordtracker says;

"Generally, a poor keyword to target will have a KEI of between 0 - 10. It's not wise to target keywords with this KEI as there is too much competition and you will probably end up on page 34 and no-one will notice you!

Since I'm doing an Seo experiment, I defied Wordtracker and now I'm on the first page of Google in just a month of optimizing it.

I also used Overture and it says it has 55,700 searches done in Febuary.

My website is now on the first page of Google with this keyword "pc computer repair" but how come I have not received yet any single visitor using this keyword.

I just thought I would be receiving hundreds of visitors per day if I could make it on the first page in Google with this keyword but what I've got is a big disappointment.

It seems the results in this Seo Tools is not always that accurate.

I post this to SeoPh Forum but no comments so far.
