With desperate moves just to get this website back into page 1 with very little time left to make any significant effect, we have done a press release on PRWeb at the same time promote the Isulong SEOph event to the public for further recognition of SEO Philippines and this first SEO event gathering in the Philippines. As this was posted, it has appeared in various websites as well as on sites that simply read the RSS feed PRWeb supplies. With many new RSS feeds everyday, this site is frequently updated.

Now a frequently updated site, that pings Technorati, will show up in Technorati right away, and the default order of search results is by showing the most recent post arranged by any authority.

Below is an image of the press release posted on some website that ping Technorati yesterday.

Obviously, the first result was very recent and was pulling the RSS Feed of my press release from PRWeb. And the link was actually going to:

http://wpgfree.info2learn.com/853/isulong-seoph-seo-contest-ends-september-30-2006-pr-web/

I then clicked on it, and it forwards to:

http://www.findromance.com/index2.php?affil=7631

And displays this:

A dating website. I never though RSS Blackhat was already existing. Get an RSS feed from one site that updates frequently. Display the feed on your page and ping Technorati. Technorati updates their listing and displays you as a recent post. And give it a URL. Then when the site is viewed by someone else aside from Technorati, display another website. I believe you can do USER_AGENT checking, IP checking or HTTP_REFERER checking to display another site.

I just find it sneaky and funny. But if you are the sensitive type that hates blackhat sneaky techniques, don’t get mad at the dating company. It looks like they have nothing to do with it. And this is just a landing page of an affiliate. And these affiliates never run out of ideas to their sneaky conversion techniques.
